‘Summer Love’ entertains even when high school dramas don't

Grease is not the word, in my book.

The plot alone is politically incorrect enough to be ridiculous. Bad boy falls for good girl. Good girl feels likewise. Bad boy spends summer pretending to be a good boy. When school starts, he reverts to his bad-boy ways. After a year of soul-searching, desperately trying to understand why her man has to act like a jerk to be popular and finding herself the butt of one too many jokes, the good girl decides becoming a bad girl is the way to true happiness. She even clocks another good girl in the face, just to prove what a bad girl she’s become overnight. That last bit borders on Barbara Walters Special for me: “She was always such a nice young girl… and then she was arrested for assault.”

It’s enough to make me—as a parent and a strong believer in the power of individuality—want to puke.
But, despite its lack of book, moral code or believability, “Grease” has been one of the longest running plays on Broadway, owing totally to its hopping and searing musical numbers. Its youthful ensembles inject a blast of energy into the big, flashy numbers peppered throughout the show. It’s also a great showcase for solo performers to strut their stuff.

Director Tommy Hensel did a fine job of bringing his cast at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre together in the big ensemble numbers and helping them create their individual characters. This much-in-demand director found a lot of interesting personality traits that weren’t necessarily in the book and used them to make some of the cast members much more appealing. Hensel’s gift is working well with his actors, and he doesn’t fall short here.

Lindsay Devino, as Sandy, has that pert, blonde, wholesome look that would drive any high school boy mad. Her vocals are absolutely amazing, and her dancing isn’t bad either. But there’s a stiffness, an affectation, that she never quite seems to shake. Even as she’s singing in that amazing voice, it’s as though she can’t reach the emotional depths of the song the way she can hit the high C, pouring all of her energy into the technical aspects of the performance without giving it the passion and excitement of actual feeling.

Stephen Lukas, likewise, truly looks the part of Danny Zuko and has a tremendous voice. However, Lukas’ own flamboyancy battles Zuko’s tough, cool hoodlum at every moment. Lukas is unable to sustain the Zuko character for more than a few minutes at a time, as if it’s an uncomfortable jacket he has to keep taking off. This is most noticeable during the dance numbers, when Lukas abandons the Zuko character altogether and becomes a young Broadway-bound hoofer, complete with wide eyes, big grins and jazz fingers. We’re not watching Stephen Lukas play Danny Zuko; we’re watching Stephen Lukas having a blast singing and dancing songs from the “Grease” soundtrack.

The true highlights of the show are the Pink Ladies and the Burger Palace Boys. Brett M. Wulfson, as Frenchy, is full of pep, charm and verve, which is one of the things that kept the show going. We want to see more of her up there and hear her sing, too. Jennifer Sue Mallard, as Jan, walks away with every scene she’s in. She’s hilarious during the most predictable humor scenes and makes us understand that geeky-girl-within-a-bunch-of cool-girls feeling. Holly Laurent as Marty is sexy and fiery, ready to take on the world with the sheer will of libido alone, which adds a nice comic element to her performance. We know what it’s like to feel like we’re the first to discover sexiness and then want to flaunt that knowledge; Laurent brings us right back there. She even gives Evan Siegal, as Vince Fontaine, a run for his money.

While it’s morally bothersome and doesn’t intellectually challenge the audience at all, “Grease” is still a fun bunch of songs with a great cast singing their hearts out.

wow...i cant remember the last time i updated...jeeez!

alrighty ..summer...it definately has its good/amazing points...and then not so much

ya know i anticipated this...all the drama...people who you think are decent great people turn out to be something COMPLETELY different and of course there will be others who stick there face where they DONT belong. whatever. its life right? right? oiy.

i love lindsay and annaleigh and a bunch of others...they make everything worth it.

Buddy closed...oh man what a run...what a success! get this ...our last show our power went out so we asked the audience if still wanted to see the rest and they were like yeah so we did it with out power. THEN...right after the show ends..power comes back. go figure right? i miss the cast...i really do. i felt it was time for the show to go cause i was gettin antsy..but i do miss the people so incredibly much.

Grease opens soon. at first...yeah i was very scared but now its actually comming together. which really excites me! so yes...COME SEE US!

oh yeah...for some kick ass news....im playing Columbia in Rocky Horror. i was just a dancer but the Columbia we had couldnt do it so Jimmy wanted me! im so excited! itll be such an amazing show. and the grease set is so kick ass for Rocky too!!! wheeeeeeeee

so far....summer has been great.. i cant wait for things to really get goin!

BUDDY - its AH-MAZING! seriously if ANY of you guys get a chance...COME SEE IT! our Buddy and Joe are freakin incredible. im having so much fun being apart of this..its a great show and everyone is so sweet and nice. ...i love it. so yea its amazing and come see it.

Grease - NEEDS TO COME NOW! hahaha im getting SO anxious! i think itll be a great show.has anyone heard anything about rehearsals yet? i was told June 22nd? if anyone knows anything definate..please let me know.
...bah i need to get my script..if it ever comes in...
but yes i talked to Tommy like a week ago and was just talking to him about casting and the set and everything and im really pumped! whooooo!

Rocky Horror - wow....after waiting for like 3 weeks..i found out i got in! im a dancer baby ..YES! im so freakin excited ! ive been wanting to do this show for 2 years! AND...theyre taking it up to Ogunquit...what? what? thats an amazing venue to have on your resume!...and i home for when it goes up there! AHHHHHHHH *SQUEALS*
i talked to Jimmy yesterday and he said hes still finalizing the cast so people who didnt get calls dont lose faith! they could be making some today too!

summer has officially started for me and im loving it!!!!!

hmm lets see whats new!

Rocky Horror auditions....were hectic for me. i had to go early cause i had Buddy Holly rehearsal and there i met Craig and Jimmy early and i sang Science Fiction and Touch Me twice then i talked to them for a bit then i headed to rehearsal ONLY to find that we were just doing a read through so i got out around 8:30ish? and raced over to the theatre and did my dance audition with the boys!!! it was so great seeing everybody too *cough cough ANNALEIGH cough cough* hmm...OH! then they wanted people to go on stage to audition for Columbia...i didnt think i was a Columbia type but Eileen was like ...GET UP THERE.. so i was scared and did lol i did okay i guess...tapping isnt really my thing ..blah oh well i had fun!...please keep your fingers crossed for me...I NEED IT!

Buddy Holly ....its going well you could say. the people are great!! theyre so incredibly nice and i love it. the show will be good i know it will be but the director loves to waste our time apparently...which really really sucks. my part is very small but i love being a back up singer! i get to be a soprano!...mainly because im not a good harmonizer lol but i enjoy it! we sound gooooooood! and Erik is the Big Bopper which is awesome. hes perfect for it. so yes! whoo for summer shows!

um....Grease...could you take any slower to get here?...lol COME NOW!

i feel like i havent updated in forever!...im gonna try my best to recall what ive been doing...oiy

Side Show is over. im sad. i miss it ALOT!!! i loved performing in it and i hope someday ill get the chance to do it again. THANK YOU to everyone came to see us. i really appreciate it..more than you know. god im still in a withdrawl...i miss playing Daisy!...the last show was so hard for me...i literally just couldnt sing my last notes and after the curtain closed Josh and I just held each other and wept like babies...hahaha funny but true. he was amazing. im so thankful for this experience...i mean the rehearsal process was hell...and i was expecting that because it was the same way last year in Cabaret but i enjoyed doing it.

strike was alittle much...we did it after the last show...at like 10:30...good lord. but we had the cast party the next day and the gave out the cast awards which was the funniest thing.

lets see....

i got asked to be in Gypsy at the Palace and i took that. its just a little ensemble part but im getting a very decent pay so im happy! i barely do anything though!!! ...which is kind of nice...i can finish my damn school work!
so thats taking up my life at the moment..we open tomorrow

SUMMER IS SO CLOSE!!!! i start Buddy Holly rehearsals like right after Gypsy! so im getting really anxious!!! Grease cannot come soon enough!!!!summer is going to be amazing :D

sam took me to his formal this past weekend....IT WAS AMAZING! i had the best time. it was everything i hoped it would be...sam looked so handsome
and the next day was just as amazing..hehe i loved sam waking me up. :)

just a quick update :)

so!

things are great/good/okay..haha i cant really decide...ya know how it is..some things are great and others okay..haha

my birthday was nice..thank you to all you who left me birthday messages..you all are wonderful!!
it was actually a very relaxing day...my family on my mom's side threw me a little party :P and i got a mini ipod (what what?) AND they got me my favorite kind of cake too... yaaaay! so...YAY FOR FINALLY BEING 18!

i got to spend an amazing day with Sam this weekend..ive missed him so much. i really cant describe how happy i am and im not going to try because words cannot do it justice :) i just love him.

so its pretty official that ill be in Manhattan next year. im very excited...although i really will miss being in NH...crazy huh? but i cannot wait!!!!! "NYC...i give you fair warning...up there in lights i'll be!" hahah couldnt resist!

so...for some really exciting news....SUMMER IS STARTING EARLY FOR ME!!! yessssssssss thats right! i got cast in The Buddy Holly Story! whoop whoop! so Brett and myself are official summer stock kids! wheee :) im really really excited..
....wanting Grease to come soon too....*please hurry up* oh and hopefully Rocky...im already so excited for summer!

well its been really REALLY stressful...but slowly getting better. Josh is now Terry and hes doing a FABULOUS job with it...learning all of it in 1 week..hes amazing..and theres no awkwardness between me and Josh which is great! we're all really happy he is here...speaking of that..im EXTREMELY happy Lindsay is helping us with our costume changes! ....its ridiculous. i have to say though...im happy with our wigs...we dont look half bad *sigh of relief*..but anyways im rambling...if you can...come see it!!!

hi everyone! just a quick update.

so things are good...i mean they were kinda sucky but slowly theyre getting back to where they should be i guess

on to the good news!!

I GOT INTO COLLEGE!!! thaaaaaaaaank god!! i was SO worried nothing was gonna happen!!...i got rejected from CCM (not a big shocker! my worst audition EVER!!)
BUT!
i got accepted to AMDA! i was so incredibly happy and relieved. its good to know i have somewhere to go now! AND! its in Manhattan so ill be near my friends! gah im really excited...when i was there the people were so nice and it was a great atmosphere. *siiiiigh* :)

more good news...

i got Marty in Grease at SRT...um..to be honest...i dont know how the hell i got the part though...that was the worst callback i have EVER had. im still confused but still very happy and happy my friends are in it. i can only imagine what the summer will be like!

woah its been awhile...ill try to update to the best of my ability...this is gonna be one big random entry! whoo gotta love those! anyways...*cough*

i wanna start by saying...

CONGRATS TO THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST CAST!! im so happy for all of you! esp WENDY!!!!!!!!!!!!! whoooo!

to all of you in Children of Eden....you guys were absolutely FABULOUS!!!!!! the show was great! i enjoyed every minute of it...Lauren, you are gorgeous onstage! what a presence!!..Zach..OH MY GOD...thats all i can say about that..Tyree seriously hunni you have the most natural talent i have ever seen! Alexandra..PERFECT! Joel..i have a crush on him! lol! god i wish i could write alittle note to everyone but that would take way too long but seriously everyone was GREAT...and when you guys sang as a chorus...such a beautiful sound! oh..AND im officially obsessed with the music now...thanks guys!..hahaha
and it was also great to see Lindsay, Ian, and JOSH!!! :)

hmm..what else is going on..

havent had too many Side Show rehearsals :( boo. unfortunately the one time Lauren and I were there the music director couldnt show up :( boo again i was alittle more upset then everyone else because we were gonna vocally do "Tunnel of Love" and thats my favorite song! ooooh well! what we have done..."Come Look at the Freaks" sounds good! so im excited!! OH OH OH AND! i met my Terry!! whoo!...i will admit i was very afriad that they cast a Terry who was EXTREMELY old...it would have been really awkward...but hes not! hes handsome guy! -thank you god-
...and ive been thinking about this..im really excited to do a love scene...like watching Lauren & Joel and Alexandra & Jake...i was like woah i havent done a love scene in a loooong time! so im looking foward to the scene "Private Conversation"

okay...on to college auditions!!!!
ill start with CCM!

CCM
alright! so! my mom and i leave friday morning to Cincinnati on a plane...and i hate flying! whoo! so yeah..we flew out of Manchester..which i like ALOT better then Boston. the plane ride wasnt too long an hour and a half...so yeah we get to Cincinnati around noon..have some lunch and go back to the hotel...so theres a big problem...ITS SO BORING THERE! we literally did nothing! i watched back to back shows of Law & Order (which im obsessed with now)but yeah..nothing..anyways! the school is beautiful and HUGE! so i wake up really early saturday morning and get myself ready..then its off to the school at 8am...yuck. so i met this really nice girl named beth and we became quick friends so i was happy for that! back to the audition haha! first we danced! suprisingly the dance wasnt tough at all (Garett you'll have NO problem with that) and then they had some of their students perform for us! that was really exciting! one guy sang "Everybody Says Dont" and he was fabulous! then they had 2 boys sing and tap "If I Only Had a Brain!" hehe i loved it! then they had those 2 boys and this girl perform a number from Cats...oh my goodness...they could dance like it was nothing! then last they had this other girl sing "Infant Joy"..what a voice..all of them were so talented and goodlooking it was ridiculous! so after we danced (which i did well on) we had a Music Theory test....AHHHHH i sucked soo bad...oh well whatevs! haha i met this really sweet guy named Adam and we started chatting and that was nice.um ..after the music theory test we had our individual auditions..oiy...i went in and there were 3 people ...2 at the table and the pianist..my first song...was shit..i was so nervous and i forgot my cuts...grr. stupid me. then my second song went great(thank god)! and my monologue was pretty good i didnt get to finish it though..they really stress on that one minute thing..oh well..overall it was just okay..

Hartt
woke up early and got myself ready..then my mom and i headed to Hartt. the drive wasnt that bad ...but...we freakin got lost..it was horrible the directions sucked but we got there in time! yay! so i checked in and at 1 we had our dance auditon...we did ballet and jazz...ballet at the bar...ugh...i did okay.. i have a problem with sticking my butt out though hehe! then we did turns and stuff across the floor which was cool and then we did this really cool combination it was like this jitterbug thing...i liked it! haha and then walking out the guy teaching it came out to ask me what my number was..so i dont know if thats good or bad? lol then literally like right after i had my invidual audition! they took a group of us over to another building where we could change and stuff...i had like 10 minutes before it was my turn so i got to talk to some of the students and ALL of them were SO sweet and helpful! haha i kept mentioning i knew Andrew because im a dork like that! haha so it was my turn and i was a bit nervous cause my ccm audition wasnt too hott and i was worried how this one would go..so i walked in and they all smiled and we met i shook hands with all 3 of them and they were all smiles and VERY nice! and so i gave my music to the guy and i showed him my cuts and he said he knew the song "Wait-a-Bit"...i was got so excited they must of thought i was a freak! hahha so i told them what i would be doing and i started with my songs first..."Kind of Woman" went GREAT! i remembered my cuts! whoo and then "Wait-a-Bit" ..okay i dont know what happened..i didnt even warm up and i NAILED the song..i dunno maybe because my first one went so well i got really excited ..i dunno it was AMAZING though! i was so happy and finally my monologue went pretty well AND they let me finish it..yay! so after they asked me if i had any questions and i did so we started talking and then one of the ladies is like.."hunni you are very very pretty in person"..and i got so flustered i couldnt speak..i was like "oh my family doesnt like my headshot either" and she goes " no! no! your headshot is great.." and she was just so nice..like i didnt know what to say! and so we talked about how i knew Andrew..hahaha! and how i wanted to see Pirates this weekend then Joan..the other judicator gave me her number and told me to call her and shed get me comps! i was like OH MY GOODNESS THANK YOU! so i want to see it!! then after that i was done and we drove home..:)
so im very happy with how that went! yay

hello everyone!

so things are pretty good right now! im quite content..

New Hampshire Theatre Awards is so close...and this year ill actually get to watch it! yay! and wear my dress for more then a half hour...even bigger YAY! im really excited to wear the dress that i have...thank you court!!...its very simple and elegant and i love it..plus its red...hehe...WHOOOO! and of course im happy to be performing with the Cabaret cast again...ive missed them..our rehearsal this past weekend was fun! then we went out to eat after...goodtimes

ggrrr...heres some bad news...i have a stuffy nose! ahh i hate those! im actually glad i caught this cold before it got worse!!! so im drinking tons of orange juice, tea, and Emergen-C!! *praying it goes away SOON*

my first college audition is NEXT WEEKEND...oh my goodness...and its for CCM..AHHHH...so nervous..but excited too..my mom and i are flying to Ohio..oh boy...should be fun...wish me luck! :)

um...im still up and down about auditioning for Beauty and the Beast...once again im horrible at making decisions! haha oh well..i probably will..lol

i apologize right now for how much im gonna talk about Side Show..

hahah the fact is im still on cloud 9!! i fell in love with this show.. i got the cd basically for 1 or 2 songs...but now i love this whole show...seriously theres not one song i dont like..and that unusual for me..and i get to do this show with people i love!! i mean there are so many things to look foward too.. and i also think i realized why i love this show...

every show ive been in ive always listen to the cd and listen to the part i was playing and picked out something that i knew i was gonna have trouble with..like a certain note that i was unsure i could hit and let alone every night. this show however..i dont know ..im very confident with it..im excited cause i feel this music really shows off my voice...my range too..i get to hit a G ..and that makes me happy cause alot of people dont know i can hit certain notes. and on top of that i think this is vocally the biggest role ive ever had.. seriously anyone who doesnt know Side Show should pick up the cd ..its just really great music (esp to perform with) :) i hope you guys can come see this...

im not really gonna update...well only about one thing! hahah

okay first off...look at this amazing icon Annaleigh made for me :) yay thank you! i LOVE it

and..

SIDE SHOW!!! auditions were last night.. i didnt have to go but i kinda wanted too..i do like being there and they wanted to hear Lauren and I sing together! so! i showed up at about 7:45ish?..met some really cool people (Linsay and Steph you guys know them! i believe their names are Jessie & Jess) really funny girls! i loved them! and!! i got to teach the dance to some people! that was really fun! then Miss Gorgeous shows up (meaning Lauren der!) and i taught her the dance in like 3 minutes tops! and the Mike showed up :D and i taught him the dance...Mike you seriously turned into a dancer! AHMAZING! so then around like 10! woah! they had me and Lauren sing I Will Never Leave You! and they put me as Daisy! yay! hahah so ...hehehe...it went really really really well! im so excited for it. Lauren was amazing..haha i felt bad she was doing all the work blending with me because im a loser and not the best singer in the world but it sounded AMAZING! no joke..of course the harmony part is alittle tough for me because we all know...im not a harmonizer. haha but i still got it! the musical director..he is sooooooo freakin good! i want to work with him so bad! so to sum it up...i have a great feeling..:) wish all 3 of us luck!

Hi everyone! this will be quick...i promise!

so beauty and the beast is over and im kinda happy. i mean i miss having to go to Portsmouth every weekend and seeing the people i love but im glad its over. its sad though...i wont be up there till the summer (hopefully!!!)hehe

can you believe it? im kind of enjoying my little break off from theatre...weird. i thought i would be going insane but im quite content! i think i needed a rest before college auditions! yikes!

CCM is my first audition...that really scares me because a.) its my first time auditioning for college and b.)its the toughest school to get into for Musical Theatre!!! oiy..!

still waiting to hear from Side Show..or kinda..whatever its complicated but lets just say im excited for it :)

i finally got my Cabaret dvd..well not really ..Pam let me borrow hers and i just made copies.haha i was watching it the other day and wow did i look scary!

im feeling really productive today! im getting so much done!!! whooo!

IM DONE! IM DONE ALL MY COLLEGE APPLICATIONS! im so happy i finished AMDA this weekend. *sigh of relief*

so to end on a good note.....

i had the most amazing day yesterday!!!! went to proctor to visit my boy and had an incredible time...i was in heaven!!! :) he makes me so happy...haha i know im getting all mushy but I DONT CARE!!
and on top of that my mom came home and we went out to eat
AND after that
mike calls me and so mike, simons, and i went to merrimac to see Elecktra!! hahaha it was fun!

i love days like those!

hello everybody! my name is Holly....whaaaaaaaaats yours!?
hahah i couldnt resist ...total Gypsy moment! okay that was me being a total theatre geek. im done.

first off..look at my AHMAZING icon Annaleigh made! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! its hott! i love it.

hmm what to talk about...

Beauty and the Beast is going great. i think we've successfully got almost every cast member sick...haha oh boy. no but seriously its going great. thank you to everyone who came to see it it makes me very happy that you guys drove up and saw us. so theres only 1 more weekend left...thank god...haha dont get me wrong i love being and Portsmouth (of course) and i love love love the cast but 5 weekends of Beauty and the Beast...im ready for it to be done. this is physically the most hurtful show ive been...i have bruises all over my body and so much more. yes it was fun while it lasted..im ready to do other shows now :)

so im auditioning for like everything now! haha i need to get back into the audition mode..i auditioned for Ragtime..wasnt my best at all...whatever.
oh and i auditioned for Side Show last night!!!!!!!!!! i have to say it went really really well :) the musical director really liked my voice and was very complimentive! yay! wanna hear something weird though...they made me sing for Violet! i figured i would sing for Daisy cause shes the alto but he put me on top and i was like ah okay! but i didnt have any trouble with that THANK GOD! so we'll see what happens...it was nice to see Carryl, Pam, Ron, Rosemary, and others last night
oh oh oh! and the girl they made me sing with...Jessica....knows Chris (Lefou)!!! small world huh? hahah but she was great! she was only 5 feet though...hahah so we were alittle off in height. but she was gorgeous and damn what a voice!...other funny thing they had her sing the alto part but shes a high soprano..weird! lol

so i dont know if im doing Palace this year..i dunno i keep changing my mind. but i know i need to get a job and i can only work during the day and Palace practices from day into night. so...i dunno ...im not like ahh i need to do a professional show cause i have some on my resume but still itd be fun to do it. grr i dunno

hey! guess what! i think i can do both Side Show and Beauty and the Beast...they really dont conflict...whoooooooo! so id like to audition for that

so my New Years Resolution....to stop being so pessimistic..i am about everything! theatre, friends, my relationship! and its not getting me anywhere. everyone needs hope ..so yes that needs to go away! and it will! and another resolution is to focus more on my school and theatre!!! especially for college auditions.

so i saw Last 5 Years the other night with a bunch of amazing people! the Mallards (i love them!!!)Ed, John Flynn, CHRISTINE AND DYLAN, my mom, Charlene and Bill, Rye, and Sam! can i just say....Oh My God..ive wanted to see this done onstage for the longest time and i still have no words for it. it really changed me and my point of view on certain things. anyways it was great.

very happy to say im almost done all my college apps!! one more to go! yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! ah! you know what im actually really excited for college.

so Sam went back to school :( i miss him so incredibly much! i cant wait to see him again...i love him so much....ah sigh of happiness!

free day today!! whoo! i wanna go shopping...i have money and now i want to spend it...must go shopping!

Hi Everyone!!!!!!!!!!

first off i hope you all had an ahmazing christmas. :) i did! got my clothes! my Mulan Special Edition DVD...yes!....and my long awaited digital camera...that i still dont know exactly how to work..Sams gotta teach me again :P

so yes for me christmas eve was CRAZY..as usual and christmas day was amazing. i got to go visit the Trachys then Sam came back with me and later that night we went to see Phantom of the Opera with Joe, Rye, and Ryan!!! ....can i just say...i loved the movie and some of you theatre folk are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too critical nowadays! so yes! i LOVED it...especially Patrick Wilson *sigh*

so recently ive been hanging with some peacock kids again! and im really really happy about that! i dunno i felt like we've completely lost touch then all of a sudden im getting calls saying they want me to hang out. its amazing! i went to the movies with Jared, Corey, and Lawrence (yes i call him Lawrence not Deeds...i dunno why lol) and i had the best time! we went to see Darkness...the worst movie ever but its great to go with a bunch of friends and make fun of it..actually the whole theatre was making fun of it.

i got to see Katie last night!! i was so happy!!! we saw Fat Albert...dont ask....haha but i enjoyed myself..i thought it was a really cute movie.

im happy to say im getting over my sickness! i was extremely sick for the past 2 weeks that i lost alot of weight and now i look gaunt...and i hate it. guys dont like girls who are way too thin. so im starting to eat how i use too! i want to fit back into my jeans!! and their only 3s!! i cant even fit into freakin 3s!! so yes im eating alittle bit more but its a big improvement compared to not eating at all for the past 2 weeks...or eating it then having to throw it up...does that gross you out? sorry if it does

sooo i think (but its not definate) that im gonna go out for SideShow and Footloose....yes i still want to go out for Gypsy and ill probably change my mind at least 5 times today but that is the plan for right now..haha im so confusing

hopefully going up to Portsmouth today...i hope i can see Sam :) god i love him...thats all i need to say about that

oh! and! it was our 1 year on the 21st :D ...........happiness..............

okay my fellow theatre friends(and anyone who cares to help) whom i love and trust i need some serious help!!!!!!!!!

i have no clue what to do/go out for for the rest of the year!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!

okay so there are a ton of great shows happening this spring and just dont know what to go out for
ill list the shows...

Footloose - Palace Theatre - show runs around the middle of April
Gypsy - Palace Theatre - runs in May
A Chorus Line - Acting Loft - im assuming it runs at the end of May
Beauty and the Beast - Peacock Players - runs in May
Side Show - Mad Company - runs end of April
Ragtime - SRT - runs from March 18 to April 17
Nine - SRT - April 29 to May 29

okay so there are the choices!!

now i figured if i go out for Beauty/ACL/or SideShow...i can do Footloose at Palace but not Gypsy..although i really want to go out for Gypsy because ill be 18 by then and i dunno maybe ill get a shot at Louise?
but i would love to go out for Ragtime! the only problem with that is i have to get Evelyn because my parents wont let me do ensemble up there anymore :(
i dont know why i added Nine there...its just a huge cast for women.
i think for Side Show i just wanna go out for Violet or Daisy..
ACL is just a kick ass show..
Beauty and the Beast...im up and down about this..cause im doing the show now but Brett Mallard is directing it! and thats really exciting..
id love to Footloose again..and im hoping this year i might get a small part at the Palace cause Rachael said Carl gave me a chance as Anybodys last year and he liked me alot..so ..*crosses fingers*

hello everyone!

just a quick update to let you guys know im still here! lol

so i got what i asked for...i got sick...yeah i wanted to get sick before college auditions rather then getting sick during them...yeah... and now i am and i feel like dying. this is worse then i expected..i got 3 hours of sleep last night..so yes im really not a happy camper right now.

Beauty and the Beast is taking over my life!!!! but im not complaining...i love it! i love the cast and crew and its alot of fun! opening went well i think...besides a few costume disasters (oiy)but other then that ..im happy! come see it!

my boy is comming home...TOMORROW! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! you dont know how incredibly happy i am. bah i hope i feel better for tomorrow!

applying to college sucks...blah. but im almost done. THANK GOD!!!!

So! Beauty and the Beast is going wonderfully. im having tons of fun and the show is really going to be amazing. pleeeeeeeaase get your tickets ASAP!! theyre really going fast (that makes me happy. so yes this is such a talented cast!! and i was worried it wasnt going to measure up to last year but slowly its getting there :) although i do miss Christine, Jason, and Kari like woah! i cant wait..Sunday starts tech!!!!! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay (not sarcasm..really and truly excited)

im done American Lit! whoop whoop!! only 2 more subjects then ladies and gentlemen i am done high school!!!!!! oh snap!

missing Peacocks! im really sad i didnt get to go to the holiday stroll...however!! i was happy i got phone calls from friends who wanted me there..it really made my night actually so thank you :)
